         CHETEK WINTER FEST

May 1 Through Oct. 2, 2010

          24th ANNUAL FISH-O-RAMA with hundreds of tagged pan fish worth from $25 to $100 each.  Dozens of tagged pan fish worth $500 each. 
         
FISH-O-RAMA UPDATE: At the end of last year's Fish-O-Rama 10/1/2009,
92 of the 408 tagged fish had been caught for a total payout of $6,000 With 7 "big buck" fish worth $500 each.

June 13 Through August 29 2010

        CHETEK HYDROFLITES WATER SKI SHOW  every Thursday and Sunday at 6:30 p.m. at their show site adjacent to the airport boat landing on Lakeview Drive.

May28-May 30

            CAMERAMA DAYS will be held for three straight days. Street dances with live music, softball tournament, parades, kids carnival, horseshoe tournament, water fights, car show, & horse pull.

June 4 - 13

        RICE LAKE AQUAFEST The City of Rice Lake celebrates the return of summer and our good fortune in living here in this beautiful area. The annual Aquafest features several days of national bands, food, fun, softball tournaments, golf tournament, a parade, kiddie parade, kids games, and a carnival.

Gary Haugen Softball Tournament;  Fishy Four-mile Run/walk Race  (8a.m., kids' race, 8:15 a.m. traditional race; for additional information, please go to www.chetekscholarships.com ); Quilt show;  Vintage Voyagers' Blast From The Past Car Show (from 9 to 3 p.m.) Wisconsin Indian Head Country's Art & Craft Fair (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Chetek Hydroflites Water Ski Show (5 p.m.  pre-show; 6 p.m.  themed show);  Sawdust pile money hunt (7:30 p.m.); Street dance with live music by Catch-penny from 8:30 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.

Sunday, July 4

Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament Begins at 8 a.m.,  Independence Day  breakfast at Masonic Lodge (7-11 a.m.)  Quilt Show, Horseshoe- pitching Contest:  Wisconsin Indian Head Country's Art & Craft Fair (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.); Parade (12 noon);  Beach Party with live music (2-6 p.m.),  and $500 Liberty Fest button drawing (5p.m.);   Chetek Hydroflites Water Ski Show (5 p.m. Pre-show; 6 p.m. Themed Show); Fireworks shot over Chetek Lake at dusk.

      13th ANNUAL BREW-RIB FEST at Phillips Park (adjacent to the city beach)

        HERITAGE DAYS at the Pioneer Village Museum in Cameron from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

July 14 -18

        BARRON COUNTY FAIR at the Fairgrounds in Rice Lake.

August 6 - 7

       Crazy Days, area businesses selling merchandise on the side walk.

 Fly-in at Chetek, Wisconsin Southworth Municipal airport (Y23) will have a BBQ fly-in.
